Your Next Tours turns a guide's phone into a live audio broadcast server, so a walking group can hear their guide clearly without a single rental receiver. It is built for one job: real-time narration by a human guide who is standing right there. It is not a self-guided audio app, and there are no pre-recorded tracks.
The guide app is available on Google Play. Participants are unaffected by which phone the guide carries, because they listen in an ordinary browser on any phone.
How it works
A single guide phone carries up to 60 participants listening at the same time.
Offline by design. The guide brings a small portable WiFi router that creates a local network wherever the tour happens: inside a museum, underground, or in a valley with no signal. The guide's phone runs as the broadcast server on that network, so the tour audio itself needs no cellular data and no internet connection.
No app, no account. Participants join that WiFi, scan a QR code, and the live audio starts playing in their own phone browser. Nothing to install, nothing to sign up for.
Slides while you talk. Guides can push images and visual aids to every participant's screen during the broadcast, so a floor plan, an old photograph, or a map arrives exactly when the story needs it.
Live translation. The guide speaks one language and each participant picks their own. Your Next Tours translates the guide's voice as it is spoken and delivers it as audio with live captions on the participant's screen. 26 languages are supported, and a single tour can carry up to four target languages at the same time.
Remote listeners, when you want them. The same broadcast can also run over the internet, so guests who are not physically with the group can listen from a browser anywhere.
One thing worth being precise about
Two claims get confused, so here they are separately. The tour audio never needs an internet connection: it stays on the local WiFi network the guide carries. Live translation and remote listeners are the two features that do use a connection.
Live translation is opt-in per tour. The guide switches it on deliberately, the guide's own voice is what gets streamed out for translation, and participant microphones are never used.
Radios vs. bring-your-own-device
Traditional whisper-radio systems work, but they carry a logistics tail: renting receivers, handing them out, collecting them, counting them, charging them, and replacing the ones that walk away. Your Next Tours removes that tail entirely.
Zero logistics. No inventory to rent, distribute, collect, or charge between tours.
Better hygiene. Participants listen through their own earphones, so no shared headsets pass between groups.
One channel becomes several languages. A rented set gives the group a single channel in a single language. Live translation lets a mixed-language group follow the same guide at the same time.
A fair comparison runs in both directions, so here is what the trade-off costs:
Device dependency. The system assumes every participant brings a smartphone with a working browser and their own earphones. Dedicated hardware makes no such assumption.
One-way audio. The broadcast goes from guide to participant only. Participants cannot speak into the system. To ask something, a participant taps the raise-hand button in the browser and joins a queue the guide can see; the guide acknowledges it and answers out loud for the whole group.
